The role combines deep backend expertise with strong ownership, designing, building, and maintaining distributed services in Java and Python.

You will work on AI-assisted development workflows, ensure reliability and performance, and collaborate with a highly technical team across time

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software/backend experience.
• 5+ years Python, building production-grade systems.
• Strong Java experience.
• AI/LLM-based development in production preferred.
• Knowledge of distributed systems and async processing.
• Experience with Docker/Kubernetes in production.
• Excellent English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services using Java and Python.
• Develop distributed systems involving databases, APIs, message queues, and data processing pipelines.
• Take ownership of features from design through monitoring and optimization.
• Build production-ready systems with reliability and performance focus.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to translate requirements into solutions.
• Improve system performance, scalability, and operational efficiency.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools to accelerate delivery while ensuring quality.
• Participate in architectural discussions and key technical decisions.
• Continuously improve development processes and engineering standards.
