thaia backs a mobile-first backend platform and is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to design and evolve the core architecture powering our applications. You will work closely with the CTO and engineering teams to scale systems, improve reliability, and drive platform evolution.

You will lead complex initiatives across backend services, infrastructure, and developer tooling, build scalable, observable architectures, and help teams ship faster while maintaining quality.

Formación

• 7+ years of experience building and operating large-scale backend systems.
• Strong backend development with Kotlin, Java, Go, or Python in production.
• Deep understanding of distributed systems, reliability, and performance optimization.

Responsabilidades

• Design and evolve the backend architecture powering our products and internal platform.
• Build scalable backend services and leading architectural decisions across teams.
• Improve infrastructure, observability, reliability, and deployment workflows; collaborate with cloud services.
