Superhuman is seeking an experienced Backend Engineer to build and operate high‑throughput services powering AI agent orchestration and real‑time data pipelines. You will design scalable core platform services and collaborate across Go, Mail, Docs, and Enterprise teams to deliver AI‑driven features end to end.

The role emphasizes independent work, strong CI/CD practices, and a deep understanding of scalable architectures.

Formación

• 8+ years in back-end development with strong fundamentals in algorithms, data structures, and system design.
• Experience building, deploying, and debugging production systems at scale.
• Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms (GCP, Azure).
• Fluency with AI coding tools and a view on their impact on software development.
• Experience with real-time systems or high-throughput API design is a plus.
• Deep understanding of CI/CD and infrastructure as code.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities across multiple projects.

Responsabilidades

• Build and operate high-throughput production services powering AI agent orchestration and real-time data pipelines.
• Design and implement core platform services to enable system scalability.
• Collaborate across Go, Mail, Docs, and Enterprise teams to determine best fit.
• Work with ML/AI, Product, and Front-End engineers to ship AI-powered features end-to-end.
• Evolve infrastructure as code with a focus on reliability and availability.
• Contribute to documentation, testing, and an engineering culture focused on quality.
