AgileEngine is seeking a Platform Engineer to design, build, and scale core infrastructure that supports rapid growth. You will work with Python/TypeScript, AWS, Kubernetes, and service mesh technologies to deliver reliable platform services and secure operations.

You will lead efforts around performance optimization, SDLC AI-native tooling, and AI-driven infrastructure improvements, collaborating closely with engineering and data science teams.

Qualifications

• - 3+ years of server development in Python or TypeScript.
• - 1+ year of API design and development using REST/gRPC.
• - 1+ year AWS and Kubernetes experience, including service mesh technologies such as Istio, Linkerd, Cilium.
• - 1+ year building advanced architectural components (service registry, streaming, event bus, distributed caching, polyglot persistence).
• - 6+ months with LLMs, prompt engineering, or AIOps tooling.
• - 6+ months SDLC AI-native usage via Claude Code, Claude Cowork.
• - Excellent communication skills and ownership mindset.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Platform Engineer to build and scale core infrastructure that supports rapid company growth. This person designs reliable platform services, manages cloud resources on AWS and Kubernetes, and works closely with engineering and data science teams to keep systems performant and secure. Comfort with distributed architecture and AI-native tooling matters here.

MUST HAVES

- 3+ years of server development in Python or TypeScript.

- 1+ year of experience with API design and development using REST/gRPC.

- 1+ year of experience with AWS and Kubernetes, including experience with Service Mesh technologies such as Istio, Linkerd, Cilium, or similar.

- 1+ year of experience building advanced architectural components such as service registry, streaming, event bus, distributed caching, federated/polyglot persistence, etc.

- 6+ months of experience working with LLMs, prompt engineering, harness engineering, or AIOps tooling.

- 6+ months of SDLC AI-native usage via Claude Code, Claude Cowork, or similar.

- Excellent communication skills, the ability to learn on the fly, and a desire for ownership.
