Job summary

AgileEngine is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to design and scale core infrastructure that supports rapid growth. You will manage cloud resources on AWS and Kubernetes, implement secure, reliable platform services, and work with service mesh technologies to keep systems performant. Strong AI-native tooling experience is a plus.

The role requires 4+ years of server development, AWS/Kubernetes expertise, and upper-intermediate English, with ownership and strong communication skills emphasized.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of server development in Python or TypeScript.
• 3+ years of experience with API design and development (REST/gRPC).
• 2+ years of experience with AWS and Kubernetes, plus service mesh tech (Istio/Linkerd/Cilium).
• 2+ years building advanced architectural components (service registry, streaming, event bus, distributed caching, etc.).
• 6+ months of experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, or AIOps tooling.
• 6+ months of SDLC AI-native usage (Claude Code, Claude Cowork, etc.).
• Excellent communication skills, fast learner, ownership mindset.
• Upper-intermediate English level

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to build and scale core infrastructure that supports rapid company growth. This person designs reliable platform services, manages cloud resources on AWS and Kubernetes, and works with service mesh technologies to keep systems performant and secure. Comfort with distributed architecture and AI-native development tooling rounds out the role.

MUST HAVES

• 4+ years of server development in Python or TypeScript.

• 3+ years of experience with API design and development, including REST/gRPC.

• 2+ years of experience with AWS and Kubernetes, with experience in Service Mesh technologies such as Istio, Linkerd, Cilium, etc.

• 2+ years of experience building advanced architectural components, such as service registry, streaming, event bus, distributed caching, federated/polyglot persistence, etc.

• 6+ months of experience working with LLMs, prompt engineering, harness engineering, or AIOps tooling.

• 6+ months of SDLC AI-native usage via Claude Code, Claude Cowork, or similar.

• Excellent communication skills, the ability to learn on the fly, and a desire for ownership.

• Upper-intermediate English level.
