AgileEngine is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to design and scale core infrastructure supporting rapid company growth. You will manage cloud resources on AWS and Kubernetes, work with service mesh tech, and contribute to AI-native development tooling.

You will build reliable platform services, monitor performance, ensure security, and drive architectural improvements. Strong communication and ownership are essential, with upper-intermediate English required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of server development in Python or TypeScript.
• 3+ years API design and development (REST/gRPC).
• 2+ years experience with AWS and Kubernetes, plus Service Mesh tech (Istio/Linkerd/Cilium).
• 2+ years building advanced architectural components (service registry, streaming, event bus, distributed caching, polyglot persistence).
• 6+ months working with LLMs, prompt engineering, or AIOps tooling.
• 6+ months AI-native SDLC tooling (Claude Code/Cowork or similar).
• Excellent communication, fast learner, ownership mindset.
• Upper-intermediate English level.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to build and scale core infrastructure that supports rapid company growth. This person designs reliable platform services, manages cloud resources on AWS and Kubernetes, and works with service mesh technologies to keep systems performant and secure. Comfort with distributed architecture and AI-native development tooling rounds out the role.

MUST HAVES

• 4+ years of server development in Python or TypeScript.
• 3+ years of experience with API design and development, including REST/gRPC.
• 2+ years of experience with AWS and Kubernetes, with experience in Service Mesh technologies such as Istio, Linkerd, Cilium, etc.
• 2+ years of experience building advanced architectural components, such as service registry, streaming, event bus, distributed caching, federated/polyglot persistence, etc.
• 6+ months of experience working with LLMs, prompt engineering, harness engineering, or AIOps tooling.
• 6+ months of SDLC AI-native usage via Claude Code, Claude Cowork, or similar.
• Excellent communication skills, the ability to learn on the fly, and a desire for ownership.
• Upper-intermediate English level.
