Job summary

Fullstack is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to design, build, and operate scalable AWS infrastructure supporting 24/7 production systems. You will own CI/CD pipelines, IaC with Terraform, and containerized workloads using ECS/Fargate, while ensuring reliability, security, and cost efficiency.

You will collaborate with data engineering and platform teams to optimize streaming and data infrastructure (Kafka, EMR, Airflow) and implement robust monitoring with Prometheus, Grafana, and CloudWatch.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering for 24/7 production environments.
• Advanced AWS skills: ECS/Fargate, ALB/NLB, VPC, Route 53, IAM, KMS, Secrets Manager, CloudTrail.
• Terraform experience with multi-environment deployments and reusable modules.
• Containerization with Docker and ECS task definitions; ECR image management.
• CI/CD expertise with Jenkins, Groovy, Jenkinsfiles, and secure development practices.
• Streaming & data infra experience with Kafka, Aerospike, EMR, Airflow, Athena, and S3
• Monitoring/observability with Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, OpenSearch; alerting with Slack/SNS.
• Automation with Python (boto3), Bash, and AWS Lambda; security and least-privilege focus.
• Strong collaboration using Git, Jira, Confluence; data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain scalable, secure, highly available AWS infrastructure.
• Manage containerized workloads with ECS/Fargate, ALB/NLB, and autoscaling.
• Develop reusable Terraform modules and CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins/Groovy.
• Operate and optimize streaming platforms and data infrastructure (Kafka, EMR, Airflow).
• Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and proactive incident resolution.
• Optimize AWS costs through right-sizing and architectural decisions.
• Automate operations with Python, Bash, and AWS Lambda.
• Strengthen infrastructure security and CI/CD security controls.
• Own infra projects end-to-end and produce clear runbooks and documentation.
• Guide technical decisions with performance metrics and cost analyses.
