Job summary

AgileEngine is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to design and operate scalable AWS infrastructure, containerized workloads, and automated CI/CD pipelines across 24/7 production systems. You will implement Terraform modules, manage ECS/Fargate, ALB/NLB, and cost-optimized architectures, while enhancing monitoring with Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry.

The role requires 5+ years in DevOps/SRE, strong scripting (Python/Bash/Go), and a security‑minded approach to PCI‑compliant environments,

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional DevOps, SRE, or platform‑engineering experience operating production services.
• 3+ years building CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI or CircleCI) and IaC (Terraform, Pulumi, or CloudFormation).
• Hands-on knowledge of Kubernetes (EKS, AKS, or GKE) and container tooling (Docker, Helm, ArgoCD, or Flux).
• Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash or Go; proficient with at least one cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Experience with observability stacks: New Relic, Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, ELK, or Datadog.
• Cloud security and PCI/compliance awareness; on-call rotations; strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Strategy, roadmap and vision for DevOps and observability in Data & AI teams.
• Design and build cloud infrastructure as code with Terraform, packaging reusable modules.
• Own CI/CD pipelines in GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI; include tests, security scans, canary deployments.
• Operate Kubernetes clusters (EKS/AKS/GKE) and container workloads with Helm, ArgoCD, or Flux.
• Build observability with Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, ELK, and Datadog — metrics, logs, traces, dashboards, and SLO‑driven alerting.
• Implement security and compliance controls: IAM, secrets management, vulnerability scanning, OPA/Checkov.
• Lead incident response with on-call playbooks and blameless post-mortems.
• Collaborate with developers on dev experience and internal platform tooling.
• Contribute to internal platform standards and knowledge sharing across teams.
• Participate in cross‑functional collaboration with AI/QA/DBA teams across environments.
