Job summary

Tether is seeking an Automation QA Engineer to own both automated and manual testing for desktop and mobile apps. You’ll build robust regression suites, integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines, and ensure quality across features with a focus on AI-powered testing tools.

Experience with Playwright, WebDriverIO, Appium is required, plus strong skills in Gherkin and BDD. We offer remote work with global teams and flexible schedules.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in QA automation and manual testing.
• Experience writing and working with Gherkin for BDD.
• Experience running tests in CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions).
• Experience with automated testing frameworks such as Jest, Playwright, Postman, JMeter.

Responsibilities

• Build regression automation scripts for app functionality.
• Test software manually for validation against criteria.
• Execute smoke, regression, integration, performance tests.
• Record detailed feature behavior documentation.
• Log pass/fail conditions and link to bugs.
• Collaborate with product to ensure quality through SDLC.
• Collaborate with customer teams to reflect user feedback in testing.
• Participate in refinement and estimation of effort.
• Maintain automation repositories in GitHub and run scripts.
• Participate in On-Call rotation.
