Job summary

PwC Acceleration Center Buenos Aires is seeking a Senior Associate to join the Deals Capital Markets team. You will provide strategic guidance on technical accounting, financial reporting, and capital market structures for a diverse client portfolio.

In this role you will advise on complex accounting advisory matters related to mergers, restructurings and other transformative events, while mentoring junior staff and building strong client relationships across geographies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required
• 3+ years of experience in deals/capital markets
• CPA license in progress or CPA credential preferred
• English proficiency required

Responsibilities

• Providing strategic guidance on technical accounting and financial reporting issues related to mergers, acquisitions and other business transformations
• Advising clients on complex accounting advisory matters and capital markets topics to maximize value in transactions
• Navigating complex transactions and delivering insights on financial structuring and reporting
• Collaborating with clients to develop solutions for capital market engagements and financial modeling
• Mentoring junior team members and managing client relationships
• Applying knowledge of GAAP and IFRS to advise on financial reporting and regulatory guidelines
