Job summary

EPAM Systems Inc. is hiring a Senior Payroll Specialist to manage Argentina payroll end-to-end, ensuring compliance with labor, social security, and tax rules.

You will own accurate, on-time payroll cycles, manage terminations and 4th-category Income Tax, and support employees with payroll inquiries throughout the month. Responsibilities include executing full monthly payroll cycles for Argentina employees, calculating final settlements, supervising 4th-category tax computations, and

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of payroll experience in Argentina.
• Experience handling monthly and final payroll calculations.
• Strong knowledge of 4th-category income tax.
• Hands-on with social security contributions and the Digital Payroll Book.
• Experience with vacations, leaves of absence, overtime, and termination workflows.
• Advanced Excel skills for payroll calculations and reporting.
• Proficient in English (B2+).
• Familiar with Tango or Visma or similar payroll systems.

Responsibilities

• Run Argentina payroll end-to-end with accuracy and on-time delivery.
• Calculate final settlements and handle termination workflows per law.
• Supervise 4th-category Income Tax computations and related checks.
• Track and report social security contributions using the Digital Payroll Book.
• Coordinate payroll updates for vacations, leaves, overtime, and absences.
• Perform validations and reconciliations to ensure payroll accuracy.
• Support employees by answering payroll inquiries throughout the month.
