Deel is seeking an Application Security Architect to lead security efforts across R&D, guiding secure architecture, risk assessments, and threat modeling for Deel’s product suite. You will conduct code reviews, penetration testing, and respond to security inquiries from customers and pre-sales teams.

Formación

• 3+ years of experience in Application Security / Cloud Security within R&D.
• Experience with secure coding techniques.
• Experience in Cloud technologies, SaaS environments, and microservices architecture.
• Deep understanding of cyber security frameworks, such as MITRE, OWASP, and others.
• Stay up to date with the latest security technologies, and attack techniques.
• Deep knowledge in web & application security.
• 2+ years of experience in application risk assessments, penetration testing, code review, and SSDLC procedures.

Responsabilidades

• Obtain mandate to ensure Deel’s products are launched with security controls.
• Monitor security systems and prioritize remediation for product, R&D, and DevOps.
• Provide security standards, requirements, and guidelines for securing products.
• Participate in development lifecycle and integration of security features across software design.
• Support Pre-Sales activities and respond to customers' security questionnaires.
• Review architecture and design for new products, features, and services.
• Coordinate third‑party penetration tests and security assessments as part of the global program.
