ASAPP is seeking a Sr. Staff Cloud Security Engineer to design, test, and strengthen security across a distributed cloud-native platform on AWS.

The role blends hands-on engineering with strategic leadership, working with security leaders, engineers, and customers to secure AI-driven solutions. You will own security architecture, threat modeling, detection engineering, and incident response while ensuring secure SDLC practices and scalable security controls across microservices and Kubernetes

Formación

• 8+ years of experience in cloud security, application security, and security architecture in modern distributed environments.
• Experience building detection engineering and SIEM/SOAR pipelines, and leading incident response.
• Hands-on Kubernetes security in production environments.
• Familiar with AI security threats and mitigations in production systems.
• Strong ability to translate architecture to code, config, and logs.

Responsabilidades

• Own cloud, application, and zero trust security architecture for AWS cloud-native microservices.
• Threat model AI-specific risks and implement mitigations for AI/ML systems.
• Build and scale detection engineering and monitoring pipelines across cloud and Kubernetes.
• Lead incident response with automated playbooks and root-cause analysis.
