Darwoft is seeking a Senior/Staff Software Engineer for an AI-native, Claude/Code Codex-enabled platform in LATAM. You will work on a modern transaction platform for complex M&A workflows, engineering production software, and leading AI-assisted development across a large, evolving codebase.

• Proven experience building and operating production software systems.
• Strong fundamentals in architecture, design, debugging, testing, and maintainability.
• Experience with large or complex existing codebases.
• Backend or full-stack experience with modern languages/frameworks.
• Experience building modern web applications and SaaS products.
• Understanding APIs, architecture, integrations, data modeling, and distributed systems.
• Experience with relational databases and production data environments.
• Familiar with automated testing and modern development practices.
• Proficient with cloud environments, CI/CD, deployments, and production operations.

Responsabilidades

• Navigate and evolve a large production codebase.
• Design and implement new capabilities across a complex SaaS platform.
• Make pragmatic architectural and system design decisions as the product scales.
• Identify technical debt, risks, reliability issues, and improvement opportunities.
• Use Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Copilot, or similar AI coding agents extensively.
• Leverage AI to explore codebases, design implementations, generate/refactor code, and speed delivery.
• Build and evolve backend services, APIs, data models, and workflows.
• Contribute across the application stack when needed.
• Strengthen automated testing, observability, reliability, and production readiness.
• Improve development workflows, tooling, automation, and engineering practices.
• Troubleshoot complex issues across layers; balance speed with quality.
• Collaborate with product leadership to translate business problems into tech solutions.
• Help a small team achieve greater development leverage through AI-assisted engineering.
