Job summary

Bechtel is seeking a Senior Electrical/Construction Engineer in Argentina to manage environmental permits, align design and construction with regulatory standards, and bridge engineering with authorities. You will ensure compliance with national and provincial regulations while supporting project schedules and technical problem-solving on HV mining projects.

The role requires an electrical engineering background with substantial HV and site construction experience, plus the ability to discuss

Qualifications

Electrical engineer degree with 10 years' experience in substation and line construction.
Proven High Voltage experience in at least 2 mining projects.
Job-related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job.
Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines.
Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner.

Responsibilities

Support construction efforts with technical support to craft and supervision and help satisfy Quality requirements.
Assist craftsmen, foremen, and project supervision with construction-related issues on drawings.
Provide technical interpretation of design documents for project managers and contractors.
Establish and maintain effective communication between the company and the design engineer.
Coordinate preparation and implementation of the project quality program; report status to project management.
Other duties as assigned.
