Job summary

Bechtel in Argentina seeks a senior Construction/Environmental Permits professional to manage obtaining, maintaining and monitoring environmental and sectoral permits. You will ensure engineering design, constructive planning and field activities comply with national and provincial regulations and client environmental standards.

Qualifications

Electrical engineer degree with 10 years in substation and line construction.
HV high voltage experience in at least 2 mining projects.
Ability to learn and apply local, state/province, and federal guidelines.
Attention to detail and time-conscious work.
Ability to communicate with project team and contractors.

Responsibilities

Provide construction engineering and technical support for a discipline on large projects.
Assist craftsmen, foremen, and supervision on construction issues.
Interpret design documents for project management and contractors.
Maintain communication between company and design engineer to ensure timely flow.
Coordinate quality program and report status.
Other duties as assigned.
