Job summary

Veta Virtual seeks a Senior Accountant to support a fast-growing fintech/cryptocurrency client in a fully remote setup. You will manage reconciliations, month-end close, and financial reporting for a high-volume, multi-channel business.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of US accounting experience, CPA preferred, and familiarity with digital assets. You’ll collaborate across teams, ensure compliance, and contribute to scalable processes.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of accounting experience with U.S.-based companies.
• Experience with full-cycle accounting in a high-volume, multi-location business.
• Strong general ledger, reconciliation, and month-end close skills.
• Experience in cryptocurrency or regulated financial services is a plus; training available.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full accounting cycle, including reconciliations, month-end close, and financial reporting.
• Reconcile cash and transaction activity across a nationwide kiosk network, resolving discrepancies with operations teams.
• Support accounting for digital asset transactions across multiple revenue channels (kiosk sales, OTC trading, online purchases, digital wallets).
• Make sound financial judgments in a fast-paced environment while ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Integrate and optimize accounting tools to support rapid growth across multiple locations.
• Oversee accounts payable/receivable, expense management, and vendor relationships.
• Assist with regulatory reporting tied to operating as a money services business, with training provided.
