Convoy Finance is seeking a Senior Accountant to own accounting for a portfolio of growing companies. This fully remote, full-time independent contractor role works directly with international founders, CFOs and senior finance professionals to ensure accurate bookkeeping and insightful reporting.

You’ll perform full-cycle accounting, collaborate with clients, and grow into more complex advisory work while aligning with the company’s fast-paced, action-oriented culture.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 4+ years of accounting experience.
• English communication with clients and senior finance people.
• Experience with QuickBooks Online, Xero, Taxprep or CaseWare is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Full-cycle accounting and bookkeeping, including reconciliations, journal entries, AP/AR and month-end close.
• Preparing and reviewing financial statements and management reporting.
• Supporting year-end compilations, audits, reviews and tax-related work.
• Working directly with clients to resolve accounting questions and issues.
• Maintaining deliverables and escalating when attention is needed.
• Implementing process improvements and supporting financial analysis.

CPA designation or active CPA pursuit
