Scale's Robotics team is building production-grade data processing pipelines and deployment for robotics data, model training, and evaluation infrastructure. You'll own critical components of our robotics platform and collaborate with cutting-edge robotics and AV customers to shape embodied AI systems.

You will work across backend (Python, Node.js, C++) and frontend (React, TypeScript) to deliver end-to-end solutions, while designing monitoring frameworks and ensuring data quality in real-time

Formación

• 6+ years of software engineering experience with complex systems.
• Strong Python and TypeScript/Node.js production skills.
• Experience with React and 3D frontend interfaces.
• Experience with concurrent and real-time systems.
• Understanding of distributed systems, orchestration, and cloud infra (AWS, Temporal, Kubernetes, Docker).
• Experience with MongoDB and PostgreSQL at scale.
• Cross-functional collaboration with ML engineers and researchers

Responsabilidades

• Own and architect large-scale data processing pipelines for robotics and autonomous vehicle datasets.
• Build ML training and fine-tuning pipelines using Scale's robotics data.
• Work across backend (Python, Node.js, C++) and frontend (React, TypeScript) stacks to build end-to-end solutions.
• Develop tools and real-time systems for robotics data collection, teleoperation, model evaluation, data curation, and data annotation.
• Interact with robotics and AV stakeholders to understand needs and drive product development.
• Design monitoring and evaluation frameworks for robotics models and data quality.
• Address timing constraints and data integrity in real-time robotic systems; collaborate with vendors and researchers.
• Collaborate with ML engineers to bring robotics research into production.
• Deliver features at high velocity while ensuring reliability and performance.
