Opsbrasil Serviços Cloud Ltda. is seeking a RIS Data Migration Engineer to lead data migration from legacy RIS systems to modern platforms. You will work with IT, clinical, and admin teams to ensure data integrity, privacy, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include extracting data from RIS/PACS/HIS/EMR, mapping legacy structures, and using ETL tools to prepare data for migration. You will document processes and train staff for the new RIS system.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in IT or healthcare informatics.
• 3+ years of data migration experience in a healthcare environment.
• Hands-on with RIS, PACS, HIS, and EMR data migration.
• Proficient SQL and healthcare data standards.
• C# or Python for in-house migration tooling; Linux scripting.
• HL7 and Mirth knowledge; strong communication and problem-solving.

Responsabilités

• Develop and execute strategies for RIS data migration.
• Extract and map legacy data structures (demographics, reports, scans).
• Use ETL to clean, transform, and prepare data for migration.
• Collaborate with IT, clinical, and admin teams across stakeholders.
• Validate data completeness and resolve inconsistencies post-migration.
• Document methodologies, tools, and reports; train staff on new RIS.
• Provide post-migration support and assist go-live implementations.
