Job summary

Hire Hangar, Inc. seeks an experienced AI Data Integration Engineer to migrate legacy RCM platforms to a new central platform. You will build data models, mappings, pipelines and data quality checks, using AI/LLM tools daily to speed up mapping and catch data issues early.

The role requires hands-on work with legacy systems and strong SQL, Python and JavaScript skills, plus experience with REST/SOAP APIs and HIPAA/PHI security. Remote role with US time zones and collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in data integration or ETL engineering with legacy systems.
• Hands-on experience using AI/LLM APIs for schema mapping or data quality checks.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases.
• Working knowledge of Python and JavaScript (or similar scripting languages).
• Experience building REST and SOAP APIs and working with JSON, XML, CSV, and EDI formats.
• Understanding of HIPAA and PHI security practices.
• Strong written and spoken English with professional communication.
• Must have prior remote work experience with US/UK-based companies.

Responsibilities

• Build data models and source-to-target mapping specs from PM systems to the new platform.
• Use AI/LLM tools to speed up schema mapping, field reconciliation and data quality checks.
• Design and build ETL pipelines and REST/SOAP APIs to move data into the new platform.
• Cleanse, structure and enrich source data into the required target format.
• Monitor, troubleshoot and resolve integration issues in production.
• Collaborate with the AI Architect, product, engineering and operations teams.
• Maintain clear documentation of data models, mapping specs and pipeline configurations.
