You will work with IT, clinical and administrative teams, map legacy data, run ETL processes, and provide post-migration support while training staff on the new RIS.

This role requires a degree in IT or related field and 3+ years in healthcare data migration, with strong SQL and scripting skills.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, healthcare informatics, or related field.
• 3+ years proven experience in data migration within a healthcare environment.
• Hands-on data manipulation/migration with RIS, PACS, HIS, and EMR systems.
• Proficiency in ETL processes, SQL, and healthcare data standards.
• Proficient with Transact-SQL, triggers, stored procedures, and SQL Server.
• Experience handling CSV, Excel, PDFs, Word, and image files.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to data privacy.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and execute comprehensive RIS data migration strategies.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather migration requirements.
• Extract data from legacy RIS systems.
• Map legacy data structures including demographics, reports, documents.
• Assemble and load master lists (physicians, billing codes, sites, rooms).
• Use ETL tools to clean, transform, and prepare data.
• Provide post-migration support for go-live implementations.
• Document the migration process and reports.
• Train staff on new RIS data access and usage.
• Perform validation to ensure data completeness.
• Post-migration verification and stakeholder reporting.
• Identify and resolve migration issues.
