Job summary

OpsBrasil Serviços Cloud LTDA is seeking an experienced data-warehousing specialist to migrate a SQL Server enterprise data warehouse from Azure to AWS, preserving the ODS–EDW–BI dependency chain and the SSIS integration layer.

You will move and re-point SSIS packages, maintain 600+ stored procedures and 1,060 pipeline dependencies, reconcile row counts before cutover, and validate the migrated warehouse is correct rather than merely moved.

Qualifications

• Real experience building and operating SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) packages.
• Advanced T-SQL: able to read a 500-line stored procedure and explain what it actually does.
• SQL Server Enterprise Edition in production, including performance tuning.
• Dimensional modeling: star schemas, slowly changing dimensions, and the judgment to know when to rebuild versus lift-and-shift.
• Working-level AWS (EC2, RDS, S3); certification expected within the first year if not already held.
• Proven experience validating that a migrated warehouse is correct, not just moved.
• Professional written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Migrate the SQL Server enterprise data warehouse from Azure VMs to AWS, preserving the ODS to EDW to BI dependency chain.
• Move and re-point SSIS packages, including those triggered by PowerShell after upstream file downloads.
• Keep 600+ stored procedures and 1,060 pipeline dependencies working, and refactor the ones that cannot come across as-is.
• Reconcile row counts and business measures against source before cutover.
• Validate that the migrated warehouse is correct, not merely moved.
