Wakapi is seeking a RIS Data Migration Engineer to lead data migration between Radiology Information Systems while ensuring data integrity and compliance. You will work with IT, clinical and admin teams to migrate legacy data to modern RIS platforms, upholding patient privacy and security standards.

The role requires strong SQL/ETL skills, experience with RIS/PACS/HIS/EMR systems, and collaboration across cross-functional teams to ensure accurate, timely data transitions.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, healthcare informatics, or related field or equivalent professional experience.
• At least 3+ years of proven experience in data migration within a healthcare setting.
• Hands-on experience with data manipulation and migration within RIS, PACS, HIS, and EMR systems.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and execute comprehensive RIS data migration strategies.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze migration requirements.
• Extract clinical, operational, and administrative data from legacy RIS systems.
• Assess and map legacy data structures including patient demographics and radiology reports.
• Use ETL tools to clean, transform, and prepare data for migration.
• Provide post-migration support for go-live implementations.
• Document migration methodologies, tools, and reports.
• Train staff on managing data in the new RIS system.
