Job summary

Baker Hughes seeks an RFM Applications Engineer to serve as the technical field expert for Kantori Remote Fluid Monitoring technology, supporting deployments, system optimization, troubleshooting, and customer adoption.

You will collaborate with drilling fluids teams, remote operations centers, and digital specialists to ensure value realization of remote monitoring solutions and translate data into actionable recommendations for improved drilling fluid performance.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
Experience with digital technologies, remote monitoring systems, instrumentation, automation platforms, sensors, or industrial control systems.
Strong troubleshooting and technical problem-solving capabilities.
Experience interacting directly with customers and field operations teams.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

Install, commission, and calibrate Kantori RFM systems at customer locations.
Support pre-job planning activities, operational readiness reviews, and field deployments.
Troubleshoot hardware, communication, connectivity, and data integration issues.
Support technology trials, pilots, and new product introductions.
Analyze operational data trends and provide recommendations to optimize drilling fluid performance.
Collaborate with Drilling Fluids operations teams to integrate RFM workflows into daily activities.
Demonstrate value to customers by showing technical and economic benefits of RFM technology.
Deliver training and technical support to customers and Baker Hughes personnel.
