Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking an RFM Applications Engineer to lead technical support for Kantori Remote Fluid Monitoring systems in field deployments. You will install, calibrate, and optimize systems, analyze data trends, and work with customer teams to drive measurable improvements in drilling fluid performance.

You will collaborate across Digital, Engineering, and Product Management teams, provide training, and travel as needed to support operations and customer needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology, Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline; equivalent industry experience considered.
• Experience with digital technologies, remote monitoring systems, instrumentation, automation platforms, sensors, or industrial control systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and technical problem-solving capabilities.
• Experience interacting directly with customers and operational teams in field environments.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to translate technical and operational data into meaningful business value for customers.
• Willingness to travel and work in field environments.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, and calibrate Kantori RFM systems at customer locations.
• Support pre-job planning and field deployments.
• Troubleshoot hardware, connectivity, and data integration issues.
• Support trials, pilots, and new product introductions.
• Analyze data trends and provide recommendations to improve drilling fluid performance.
• Collaborate with Drilling Fluids teams to integrate RFM workflows.
• Demonstrate value of RFM technology to customers.
• Provide training and technical support to customers and Baker Hughes personnel.
• Maintain documentation and SOPs; share best practices.
• Collaborate with Digital, Engineering, and Product teams for product improvements.
