Job summary

Sunrise Management is seeking a Maintenance Technician who will perform general maintenance and repairs to uphold our property's quality and curb appeal. You will assist the Maintenance Supervisor with preventive maintenance, safety compliance, and on-call duties, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, pool upkeep, and custodial tasks.

Expect to keep apartments rent-ready within 3–5 days of vacancy, respond to tenant requests within 24 hours, and collaborate with site management to

Qualifications

• 1-2 years hands-on maintenance experience (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting).
• Minimum 2 years of knowledge of property management software such as Entrata, Yardi, Onesite.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills.
• Superior customer service skills including the ability to manage difficult customers and/or situations.
• Ability to work independently and flexible schedule including weekends, evenings and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance tasks, including appliance repair, basic electrical, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, pool maintenance, and custodial work.
• Maintain the exterior curb appeal of the community and ensure the cleanliness of the grounds.
• Assist with daily upkeep of pools, spas, laundry rooms, recreation areas, rental offices, restrooms, and other common areas.
• Ensure apartments are rent-ready within 3-5 days of vacancy.
• Respond promptly and professionally to tenant service requests, informing management of delays.
