Job summary

HoliMont Ski Area seeks a General Maintenance and Repair Technician to support safety, appearance, and repair of our buildings and grounds. You will assist members and guests with indoor and outdoor tasks, maintaining cleanliness and readiness for events.

The role requires flexibility to perform alternate duties during peak periods, including nights and holidays. Responsibilities include snow removal, general repairs, sanitation, and setup/teardown for events, with strong emphasis on customer

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance, repair, or janitorial roles preferred.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in a ski-resort environment.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Comfortable operating in crowded or busy areas.
• Ability to stand and walk on varied surfaces for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Outside roles include snow removal: plowing, salting, shoveling, snow blowing.
• Inside roles cover janitorial tasks: cleaning, sanitation, vacuuming, sweeping.
• General carpentry, plumbing, electrical and grounds maintenance/repair.
• Bathroom cleaning and pickup.
• Event setup and teardown.
• Interact with members and guests with grace and positivity.

Job description

The General Maintenance and Repair Technician will be asked to complete many different tasks across maintenance, repair, and cleaning. Technicians are responsible for the safety, appearance, and repair of HoliMont Buildings and Grounds. Technicians will assist members and guests with general indoor and outdoor awareness, events, and HoliMont knowledge. Successful Technicians will enjoy working indoors and outdoors and providing top-notch customer service by interacting with all members and guests while thriving with changing job duties.

• Outside Roles include Snow Removal, including plowing, salting, shoveling, snow blowing
• Inside Roles include general Janitorial roles, cleaning tables, sanitation, vacuuming, and sweeping
• General Carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and grounds maintenance and repair.
• Bathroom Cleaning and Pickup
• Event Set up and Tear Down
• Interact and communicate with all members and guests with grace and positivity.

NOTE: All HoliMont employees are required to perform alternate functions from time to time, both within and outside of their assigned department, particularly during peak periods such as holiday weekends.

• Willing and able to work in and around crowds and busy traffic areas.
• Willing and able to perform prolonged periods of standing and walking on slippery and/or uneven snow or icy surfaces for outdoor roles.

• Good communication skills and accurately follow instructions
• Nights, Weekends, and Holidays available
