Job summary

Sezzle is seeking a detail-oriented Vendor Management Program Manager to lead the execution of our third-party risk framework. You will oversee the vendor lifecycle, ensuring security, compliance, and regulatory alignment across fintech partnerships and bank integrations.

Bring 7+ years in vendor risk management, deep regulatory knowledge (PCI-DSS, SOC 2, GLBA, BSA/AML), and comfort with AI tools like Claude to enhance productivity and collaboration. This is a remote contractor role.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of vendor risk management experience, preferably in fintech or regulated financial services.
• Regulatory guidance knowledge: PCI-DSS, SOC 2, GLBA, BSA/AML.
• Proven ability to manage a high volume of vendor assessments with audit-readiness.
• Experience using AI tools to enhance research and communication.

Responsibilities

• Standards & governance: set and maintain third-party risk standards with IT, Legal, and Compliance.
• Due diligence & monitoring: perform vendor due diligence and ongoing risk oversight.
• Documentation & reporting: manage vendor inventories and compliance reviews.
• Risk assessment: evaluate vendor criticality and inherent risk in key categories.
• Collaboration: work with Legal for contracts and with Information Security for safeguards.
• Issue escalation: track risks and escalations to senior leadership and banks.
