RateHawk is seeking an experienced Level 2 Tax & Accounting Support Specialist to assist clients with complex US accounting, tax, bookkeeping, and payroll inquiries. The role requires deep technical accounting judgment and the ability to work independently.

Ideal candidates have CPA/EA preferred credentials, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and can explain complex topics to nontechnical customers. Remote work with US-hour overlap is offered.

Qualifikationen

• Demonstrated accounting experience with exposure to US accounting and taxation.
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• Ability to investigate complex questions and provide precise solutions.
• Experience handling tax and payroll related inquiries a plus.
• Familiarity with bookkeeping, reconciliations, financial reporting.

Aufgaben

• Provide Level 2 support for complex US accounting, tax, bookkeeping and payroll inquiries.
• Investigate escalated tickets and coordinate with internal specialists as needed.
• Review and troubleshoot bookkeeping discrepancies and reconciliations.
• Explain technical accounting topics clearly to nontechnical customers.
• Document resolutions and maintain accurate customer records.
