RateHawk is seeking an experienced Level 2 Tax & Accounting Support Specialist to provide expert support for US accounting, tax, bookkeeping and payroll inquiries from a remote Argentina-based team.

The role requires deep technical accounting judgment, ability to investigate and resolve complex issues, and to communicate findings clearly via Zendesk, email, and calls. The ideal candidate has strong English, CPA/EA, and experience with QuickBooks and payroll software.

Qualifikationen

• Professional accounting experience with exposure to US accounting and taxation.
• Strong knowledge of bookkeeping, tax return review, reconciliations, payroll, and financial reporting.
• Experience handling complex tax and accounting inquiries and customer-facing financial support.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.

Aufgaben

• Provide Level 2 support for complex US accounting, tax, bookkeeping, and payroll inquiries.
• Investigate and resolve escalated accounting and tax tickets.
• Review and troubleshoot bookkeeping discrepancies and reconciliations.
• Assist customers with tax-related inquiries, notices, and filing status questions.
• Support payroll questions, setup, processing issues, and troubleshooting.
• Document resolutions and maintain accurate customer records.
• Identify recurring issues and suggest workflow or knowledge resource improvements.
