Gbs Group is seeking an experienced Level 2 Tax & Accounting Support Specialist to provide expert guidance on US accounting, tax, bookkeeping and payroll issues from a remote Argentina location. The role demands strong accounting judgment, excellent English communication, and the ability to independently resolve complex inquiries.

Ideal candidates hold CPA/EA credentials or equivalent, with exposure to US tax practices, and are comfortable working across proprietary platforms and AI-assisted

Qualifications

• Professional accounting experience with exposure to US accounting and taxation.
• Ability to review tax returns, reconciliations, payroll, and financial reporting.
• Experience handling complex tax and accounting inquiries and tax notices.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 2 support for US accounting, tax, bookkeeping and payroll inquiries.
• Investigate and resolve escalated accounting and tax tickets.
• Review bookkeeping discrepancies, reconciliations and transactions.
• Explain complex accounting topics to non-technical customers.
• Document resolutions and maintain accurate customer records.
