High Scale is seeking a Senior Video Editor to work remotely for North American universities. You will edit and optimize video content for ads, branding, and campaigns, collaborating with design, copy, and strategy teams to tailor content for YouTube, social media, and paid media.

We value 3+ years of experience, strong Premiere Pro skills, and storytelling ability. The role focuses on education brands, platform-specific optimization, and delivering high-quality videos on tight timelines.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional video editing experience, preferably in an agency, media production, or marketing setting.
• Advanced skills in Adobe Premiere Pro; working knowledge of After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
• Experience editing content for ads, marketing, or corporate communications.

Responsibilities

• Edit and assemble video content for ads, social media, YouTube, and digital campaigns, ensuring strong storytelling and brand consistency.
• Enhance video quality through color correction, sound design, and smooth transitions.
• Integrate motion graphics and simple animations to improve engagement.
• Optimize videos for different platforms with correct aspect ratios, pacing, subtitles, and thumbnails.
• Collaborate with designers, copywriters, and strategists to align visuals with marketing goals.
• Manage video files and organize assets with structured workflows and version control.
• Review edits and refine content based on internal and client feedback before final delivery.
• Stay updated on new editing techniques and platform trends to continually improve video effectiveness.
• Ensure timely delivery of final assets, accounting for review steps.
