Job summary

High Scale is seeking a Senior Video Editor to remotely support North American universities. You will edit and optimize video content for ads, brand storytelling, and digital campaigns, collaborating with designers, copywriters, and strategists to ensure high-quality outputs.

You'll work with platforms like YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook, applying color grading, audio design, and motion graphics to tell compelling stories. This role is fully remote for LATAM, with opportunities to grow.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional video editing experience.
• Agency, media production, or marketing team experience preferred.
• Fluent English communication.
• Experience editing content for ads, marketing, or corporate communications.

Responsibilities

• Edit and assemble video content for ads, social media, YouTube, and digital campaigns.
• Enhance video quality through color correction, sound design, and smooth transitions.
• Integrate motion graphics and simple animations (text overlays, transitions) to improve engagement.
• Optimize videos for different platforms with correct aspect ratios, pacing, subtitles, and thumbnails.
• Collaborate with designers, copywriters, and strategists to align visuals with marketing goals.
• Manage video files and organize assets with structured workflows and version control.
• Review edits and refine content based on internal and client feedback.
• Stay updated on new editing techniques and platform trends to improve video effectiveness.
• Ensure timely delivery of final assets, accounting for review steps.
