Job summary

Content Creators is seeking a Senior Video Editor to work remotely for North American universities. You will edit and optimize video content for ads, brand storytelling, and digital campaigns, collaborating with designers, copywriters, and strategists.

You will leverage Adobe Premiere Pro (and After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve) to deliver high-quality edits, ensure correct platform formatting, pacing, subtitles, and thumbnails, and participate in a fast-paced, creative environment

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional video editing experience, ideally in agency/media/marketing.
• Advanced skills in Adobe Premiere Pro; working knowledge of After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
• Experience editing ads, marketing or corporate videos.
• Strong storytelling with good pacing and audience engagement.
• Familiarity with motion graphics (text animations, lower thirds, transitions).
• Color grading, sound design, and social video formatting knowledge.
• Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Able to collaborate with US-based teams and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Edit and assemble video content for ads, social media, YouTube, and digital campaigns.
• Enhance video quality with color correction, sound design, and transitions.
• Integrate motion graphics and simple animations to boost engagement.
• Optimize videos for different platforms with correct aspect ratios, pacing, subtitles, and thumbnails.
• Collaborate with designers, copywriters, and strategists to align visuals with goals.
• Manage video files and assets with organized workflows and version control.
• Review edits and refine content based on internal and client feedback.
• Stay updated on new editing techniques and platform trends.
• Ensure timely delivery of final assets through review steps.
