Clients Blackbox, Inc. is seeking a Senior Video Editor to work remotely for North American universities.

You will edit and optimize video content for ads, branding, and campaigns, collaborating with designers, copywriters, and strategists to ensure high-quality output across YouTube, social media, and paid media. The role requires 3+ years of professional editing experience and advanced skills in Premiere Pro, with knowledge of After Effects or DaVinci Resolve.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional video editing experience (agency/marketing preferred).
• Advanced skills in Adobe Premiere Pro; knowledge of After Effects/Final Cut Pro/DaVinci Resolve.
• Experience editing content for ads, marketing, or corporate communications.
• Strong storytelling with pacing and audience engagement.
• Familiarity with motion graphics like text animations and transitions.
• Color grading, sound design, and video formatting for social, web, and broadcast.
• Highly organized with ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Fluent English and ability to work with U.S.-based teams.
• Experience optimizing video content for multiple platforms (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, TV).

Responsabilités

• Edit and assemble video content for ads, social media, YouTube, and digital campaigns, ensuring strong storytelling and brand consistency.
• Enhance video quality through color correction, sound design, and smooth transitions.
• Integrate motion graphics and simple animations (text overlays, transitions, logo animations).
• Optimize videos for different platforms, ensuring correct aspect ratios, pacing, subtitles, and thumbnails.
• Collaborate with designers, copywriters, and strategists to align visuals with marketing goals.
• Manage video files and organize assets, ensuring structured workflows and version control.
• Review edits and refine content based on internal and client feedback before final delivery.
• Stay updated on new editing techniques and platform trends to improve video effectiveness.
• Ensure timely delivery of final assets, accounting for review steps.
