Job summary

High Scale is seeking a Senior Video Editor for remote work focused on North American universities. You will edit and optimize video content for ads, brand storytelling, and digital campaigns, collaborating with designers, copywriters, and strategists to ensure high-quality content across YouTube, social media, and paid media campaigns.

The role requires 3+ years of professional video editing experience, strong command of English, and advanced skills in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the team to ensure consistency of designs across various media outlets
• Create compelling stories and video assets
• Maintain awareness of current industry and technology standards, social media, competitive landscape and market trends
• Edit and assemble video content for ads, social media, YouTube, and digital campaigns, ensuring strong storytelling and brand consistency
• Enhance video quality through color correction, sound design, and smooth transitions
• Integrate motion graphics and simple animations to improve engagement
• Optimize videos for different platforms, ensuring correct aspect ratios, pacing, subtitles, and thumbnails based on distribution channels
• Collaborate with creative teams—designers, copywriters, and strategists—to align visuals with marketing goals
• Manage video files and organize assets, ensuring structured workflows and version control
• Review edits and refine content based on internal and client feedback before final delivery
• Stay updated on new editing techniques and platform trends to continuously improve video effectiveness
• Ensure timely delivery of final assets, accounting for internal and client review steps
