Job summary

Content Creators is seeking a Senior Video Editor to work remotely with North American universities. You will edit and optimize video content for ads, branding, and digital campaigns, collaborating with designers, copywriters, and strategists to ensure high-quality outputs.

You'll shape video content strategies, apply advanced editing techniques, and ensure delivery across platforms like YouTube, social media, and paid media campaigns.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional video editing experience, preferably in an agency, media production, or marketing team.
• Advanced skills in Adobe Premiere Pro; working knowledge of After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
• Experience editing content for ads, marketing, or corporate communications.
• Strong storytelling ability with pacing, audience engagement, and visual impact.
• Familiarity with motion graphics (text animations, lower thirds, transitions).
• Technical knowledge of color grading, sound design, and video formatting for social media, web, and broadcast.
• Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Fluent English communication, with ability to work with U.S.-based teams.
• Experience optimizing video content for multiple platforms (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, TV).

Responsibilities

• Edit and assemble video content for ads, social media, YouTube, and digital campaigns, ensuring strong storytelling and brand consistency.
• Enhance video quality through color correction, sound design, and smooth transitions.
• Integrate motion graphics and simple animations (text overlays, transitions, logo animations).
• Optimize videos for different platforms, ensuring correct aspect ratios, pacing, subtitles, and thumbnails.
• Collaborate with creative teams—designers, copywriters, and strategists—to align visuals with marketing goals.
• Manage video files and organize assets, ensuring structured workflows and version control.
• Review edits and refine content based on internal and client feedback before final delivery.
• Stay updated on new editing techniques and platform trends to continuously improve video effectiveness.
• Ensure timely delivery of final assets, accounting for review steps.
