Scale Up Recruiting Partners is seeking a Senior Video Editor for a remote role serving North American universities. You will edit and optimize video content for advertising, brand storytelling, and digital campaigns, collaborating with designers, copywriters, and strategists to ensure high-quality content for YouTube, social media, and paid media campaigns.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in professional video editing, expert Premiere Pro, and familiarity with After Effects or DaVinci Resolve.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional video editing experience in agency, media production, or marketing teams.
• Advanced skills in Adobe Premiere Pro; working knowledge of After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
• Experience editing ads, marketing content, or corporate communications.

Responsibilities

• Edit and assemble video content for ads, social media, YouTube, and digital campaigns.
• Enhance video quality via color correction, sound design, and transitions.
• Add motion graphics and simple animations to boost engagement.
• Optimize videos for platforms with correct aspect ratios, pacing, captions, and thumbnails.
• Collaborate with design, copy, and strategy teams to align visuals with goals.
• Manage video files and maintain asset organization.
• Review edits and refine content after client feedback.
• Stay updated on editing techniques and platform trends.
• Ensure timely delivery of final assets.
