Knwn Local is seeking a Senior Video Editor for a fully remote role focused on North American universities. You will edit and optimize video content for ads, brand storytelling, and digital campaigns, collaborating with designers, copywriters and strategists to ensure high-quality outputs.

Responsibilities include color grading, sound design, motion graphics, platform-specific optimizations, and delivering polished assets on tight timelines.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional video editing experience, ideally in an agency or marketing setting.
• Advanced skills in Premiere Pro; familiarity with AE and other editors.
• Strong storytelling, pacing, and audience engagement for ads and campaigns.
• Knowledge of color grading, sound design, and social media formats.
• Excellent organizational and deadline-driven work style.
• Ability to work with U.S.-based teams remotely.

Responsibilities

• Edit and assemble video content for ads, social media, YouTube and campaigns.
• Enhance quality with color grading, sound design, and transitions.
• Add motion graphics and simple animations for engagement.
• Optimize videos for various platforms and aspect ratios.
• Collaborate with designers, copywriters and strategists to meet goals.
• Manage assets, ensure version control and timely delivery.
• Review edits and iterate based on feedback.
• Keep up with editing techniques and platform trends.
• Ensure final assets pass internal and client reviews.
