AgileEngine is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to architect and build an enterprise data platform from the ground up on Snowflake and Azure. You will own the full stack from infrastructure provisioning through pipeline development, data modeling, governance, and observability.

You will deliver production-grade pipelines, implement CI/CD, and enforce HIPAA-aligned data handling with Snowflake RBAC. This is a solo senior contributor role requiring high ownership and end-to-end responsibility.

Formación

• 4+ years in hands-on data engineering with full production pipeline ownership.
• Deep expertise in Snowflake administration and performance tuning.
• Strong SQL and data modeling fundamentals (Kimball, SCD).
• Production experience with SQLMesh or DBT.
• Ingesting data from REST APIs and SQL Server using Azure Data Factory and Azure Functions.
• Terraform for infrastructure provisioning with CI/CD using GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps.
• Upper-intermediate English level.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines ingesting from enterprise source systems into Snowflake using Azure Data Factory, Azure Event Hub, and ADLS Gen2.
• Build and optimize analytics-ready data models (Bronze/Silver/Gold) using SQLMesh.
• Provision and manage platform infrastructure through Terraform, including Snowflake objects and Azure resources.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions for automated testing and multi-environment releases.
• Design and enforce data governance, security, and access controls including HIPAA-aligned practices.
• Configure and maintain cloud networking components and private connectivity.
• Build and operate platform-wide observability with Datadog or equivalent.
