AgileEngine, LLC. is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to architect and build an enterprise data platform on Snowflake and Azure. You will own the full stack from infrastructure provisioning to pipeline development, data modeling and governance, delivering a production-grade platform as a solo senior contributor.

You will develop scalable data pipelines, model Bronze/Silver/Gold layers, and implement CI/CD with GitHub Actions. Expect HIPAA-aligned handling and robust observability across the system.

Formación

• 4+ years of hands-on data engineering with full production pipeline ownership.
• Deep Snowflake administration and performance tuning.
• Strong SQL and data modeling fundamentals (Kimball, SCD).
• Production experience with SQLMesh or DBT in warehouse-centric architecture.
• Ingesting data from REST APIs and SQL Server using ADF and Azure Functions.
• Terraform for infra provisioning with CI/CD via GitHub Actions/Azure DevOps.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines ingesting from enterprise source systems into Snowflake using Azure Data Factory, Azure Event Hub, and ADLS Gen2.
• Build and optimize analytics-ready data models (Bronze/Silver/Gold) using SQLMesh.
• Provision and manage platform infrastructure through Terraform, including Snowflake objects and Azure resources.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, environment promotion, and multi-environment releases (dev/test/staging/production).
• Design and enforce data governance, security, and access controls including HIPAA-aligned handling.
• Configure cloud networking and private connectivity (Azure Private Endpoints, Private Link, DNS zones).
• Build observability using Datadog for pipeline health, data freshness, and data lineage.
• Write production-grade Python for ingestion utilities, data quality, and platform integrations.
