APPLY is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and cloud-based data architectures. You will optimize ETL/ELT processes, collaborate with engineers to integrate pipelines into cloud-native apps, and drive data governance and security across platforms.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in data engineering, strong Snowflake experience, and proficiency in SQL and Python, with experience in dbt and orchestration tools.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering for cloud-based data platforms.
• Strong Snowflake performance tuning, security, and data modeling knowledge.
• Advanced SQL for analytics engineering and data transformation.
• Proficiency with Python for data processing, automation, and orchestration.
• Experience with dbt or similar analytics engineering frameworks.
• Familiarity with orchestration tools like Dagster or Apache Airflow.
• Experience enabling ML/AI use cases on data platforms.
• Solid understanding of data privacy, governance, and compliance.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and architectures for analytical and operational workloads.
• Develop and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines from diverse sources.
• Collaborate with backend/platform engineers to integrate pipelines into cloud-native apps.
• Manage and optimize cloud data warehouses (BigQuery focus noted) for performance and cost efficiency.
• Implement data governance, security, and privacy best practices.
• Collaborate with analytics teams to define data models and enable self-service BI capabilities.
• Maintain data documentation, lineage, and metadata management.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data pipelines for high availability.
