AgileEngine is looking for a Senior Data Engineer to architect and build an enterprise data platform on Snowflake and Azure. You will own the full stack from infrastructure provisioning through pipeline development, data modeling, governance, and observability.

This solo senior role requires high ownership, delivering production-grade capabilities with no dedicated specialist teams, while applying HIPAA-aligned data handling and strong security controls.

Formación

• 4+ years hands-on data engineering with full pipeline ownership.
• Expertise in Snowflake administration and performance tuning.
• Strong SQL and data modeling fundamentals (Kimball, dimensional design, SCD).
• Production experience with SQLMesh or DBT in warehouse-centric architecture.
• Experience ingesting data from REST APIs and SQL Server using Azure Data Factory and Azure Functions.
• Hands-on Terraform for infra provisioning; robust CI/CD with GitHub Actions/Azure DevOps.
• Ability to audit and operate mature data platforms built by third parties.
• Upper-intermediate English level.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines from enterprise sources into Snowflake on Azure.
• Build and optimize Bronze/Silver/Gold data models.
• Provision and manage platform infrastructure via Terraform and IaC standards.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and multi-environment releases.
• Enforce data governance, including Snowflake RBAC, row-level security, and HIPAA-aligned practices.
• Configure cloud networking, private connectivity, and security groups.
• Build platform observability with Datadog or equivalent; monitor data freshness and lineage.
• Write production-grade Python for ingestion utilities and data quality checks.
• Apply Agile practices with stakeholders to deliver iteratively.
