Job summary

Chevron Global Business Services (GBS) in Buenos Aires, Argentina, is seeking a Data Engineer to design and maintain automated data pipelines using a broad Azure data stack. You will support data ingestion, preparation and analytics processing to enable business insights.

Relocation may be considered, and expatriate sponsorship is not provided. Successful candidates will join a large IT organization delivering services to the global Chevron enterprise.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science, MIS, Computer Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years as Data Engineer or similar role.
• Experience with Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Python, SQL and cloud data platforms.

Responsibilities

• Understand business data needs and stakeholder requirements.
• Leverage data engineering and analytics techniques to enable data access and value.
• Normalize, ingest and prepare data from multiple sources.
• Enable data scientists with accessible data for analytics models.
• Collaborate with ML engineers to scale and deploy data solutions.
