Chevron Global Business Services (GBS) in Buenos Aires, Argentina is seeking a Data Engineer to design, deploy, and maintain automated data transformation pipelines. You will work within a global IT organization delivering data services and solutions to the corporation.

Responsibilities include ingesting, preparing, and transforming data, enabling data scientists, and collaborating with ML engineering to scale models. Relocation may be considered; expatriate assignments are not planned.

Competenze

• BS in Computer Science, MIS, Computer Engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in Data Engineer role.
• Experience with data acquisition, preparation, validation, data movement and transformation; big data computing; cloud computing; information security.

• Understand business use of data and stakeholder requirements to support processes and objectives.
• Leverage data, software engineering, and data science techniques to create business value through data accessibility.
• Identify, acquire, cleanse and prepare, store data; develop data products aligned with architecture patterns.
• Normalize and ingest data from multiple sources; enable data scientists with data access.
• Work with ML Engineer to scale and deploy solutions including model documentation and training.
