Chevron Global Business Services (GBS) in Buenos Aires is hiring a Data Engineer to design and maintain automated data transformation pipelines. You will work with a variety of storage and compute technologies to support data architecture across the organization.

Requirements include 5+ years in data engineering and hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Python/Java, and CI/CD. Relocation may be considered, visa sponsorship not provided in some cases.

Competenze

• BS in Computer Science, MIS, Computer Engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer.
• Experience with ETL, data movement, data prep and analytics architecture using Azure tools and Python/Java.

• Understand business data use and stakeholder requirements to support processes and objectives.
• Leverage data, software engineering, and data science techniques to create value via data accessibility.
• Ingest, prepare, validate, store data; develop data products aligned with architecture patterns.
• Normalize and ingest data from multiple sources.
• Enable data scientists by making data available for analytics, assist in ML deployment.
• Collaborate with ML Engineer to scale and deploy solutions and document processes.
