Job summary

Encora10 is seeking a Senior Data Engineer (Marketing-oriented) for a remote role with an education-focused marketing agency. You will own the data path from client ad accounts and CRM through Adverity into a BigQuery warehouse, and on to modular dbt/Dataform transformations and Looker Studio dashboards.

You’ll collaborate with the Data & Analytics team to ensure high data quality, scalable pipelines, and accurate reporting for education clients and nonprofits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on data engineering experience, ideally in a marketing or agency environment.
• Experience configuring datastreams, transformations, and destinations in ETL platforms.
• Strong SQL with BigQuery experience; proficiency in Python for API integrations.
• Experience with dbt or Dataform pipelines and multi-client data environments.
• CRM data flows and integrations (Slate, Salesforce, HubSpot) a plus.
• Understanding marketing metrics (ROAS, CPA, CAC) and platform schemas.
• Proficient in Git and collaborative development workflows.

Responsibilities

• Own data ingestion & pipeline architecture—connect APIs from paid media into Adverity and build scalable pipelines.
• Own CRM integration—maintain reliable CRM connections so lead data flows into the warehouse.
• Own the data warehouse—design schemas in BigQuery, manage partitioning and storage strategy.
• Own transformation & mapping—build modular dbt/Dataform pipelines with clear conventions.
• Own CI/CD & data segregation—maintain GitHub Actions and testing for multi-client environments.
• Enable the reporting layer—create views for Looker Studio dashboards and automated reports.
• Drive data quality—monitor pipelines, validate data, and flag risks to leadership.
