Job summary

AgileEngine is seeking a Senior Cloud/DevOps Engineer to operate and improve the cloud infrastructure behind an enterprise data platform in a regulated healthcare environment.

You will lead complex incident resolution, strengthen CI/CD, and drive reliability across AWS, Kubernetes, Argo Workflows, and Terraform. Collaboration with Data Engineering, Security, and Analytics teams is essential, with LatAm coverage and on-call rotation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Cloud/DevOps or SRE experience in production.
• Strong AWS production experience with Kubernetes (EKS).
• Hands-on with Argo Workflows and CI/CD pipelines.
• IaC with Terraform and Git-based delivery.
• Experience with monitoring/alerting tools (Splunk, PagerDuty, Opsgenie).
• Root-cause analysis, incident resolution and prevention.
• Scripting in Python, Shell or Bash; good English communication.
• Mentor engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Availability for LatAm service window and on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical ownership during LatAm coverage window and incident escalation.
• Operate and improve AWS infrastructure, including EKS, S3, and Lambda.
• Administer Kubernetes workloads and Argo Workflows for reliability.
• Define standards for IaC, CI/CD, changes, and environments.
• Improve observability and alerting across platforms and runbooks.
• Lead incident reviews, root-cause analysis, and preventive actions.
• Design reliability improvements and automate repetitive work.
• Track service metrics and ensure compliance with security controls.
• Mentor engineers and participate in on-call rotations.
