Job summary

AgileEngine is seeking a Senior Cloud/DevOps Engineer to operate and improve the cloud infrastructure for a regulated healthcare data platform. The role requires 5+ years of Cloud Engineering/DevOps/SRE experience, AWS EKS and Kubernetes expertise, and strong English communication for collaboration with global stakeholders.

Responsibilities include managing AWS infrastructure, Argo Workflows, Terraform-based IaC, and CI/CD pipelines, with on-call rotation and a focus on reliability,

Qualifications

5+ years of professional experience in Cloud Engineering, DevOps or SRE.
Hands-on experience operating AWS infrastructure in production.
Advanced experience with Kubernetes and Amazon EKS.
Experience administering Argo Workflows or similar tooling.
Strong Terraform and IaC with Git-based delivery.
Experience building and supporting CI/CD pipelines and releases.
Proficiency with monitoring and incident tools (Splunk, PagerDuty, Opsgenie).
Lead complex incident resolution and root-cause analysis.
Python/Shell/Bash scripting skills.
Strong English communication and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

Provide technical ownership for Cloud/DevOps during LatAm window.
Operate and improve AWS infrastructure including EKS, S3, Lambda.
Administer Kubernetes workloads and Argo Workflows.
Define standards for IaC, CI/CD, and environment consistency.
Improve observability and alerting with runbooks and tools.
Lead major incident response and post-incident reviews.
Design reliability improvements and automation of repetitive ops work.
Track service metrics like availability and deployment outcomes.
Apply change-management, access control, and auditability practices.
Mentor engineers and participate in on-call rotation.
